Who We Are
Edge Insight was founded in 2017 by Jan De Iulio. From his successful career working in the publishing sector, Jan recognised the need to offer media partners and clients a complete service to provide them with the insights they need to understand their customers and grow their businesses. He created a team of expert researchers to provide a comprehensive service from beginning to end, that could act like an in-house market research function.
Since then, Edge Insight has evolved to offer partners and clients much more, with live, interactive dashboards, a digital growth service and access to an intelligent, innovative events platform. The team, led by Jan offers exceptional customer service. They are always looking to enhance their offer, to provide the best possible support to partners and clients, helping to save them valuable time and generate new revenue opportunities.
After a 20-year career in sales and management, Jan founded Edge Insight in 2017. His extensive experience means he understands exactly what media owners and their clients need to succeed. He has a highly successful track record of project managing research and digital projects, covering all bases to make sure every job is completed to the highest standard.
Heather has a successful career as both an agency and client-side researcher. She delivers companies excellent, perfectly researched business intelligence that improves their offering and makes them more money. Her vision is to help companies create better products, that deliver better outcomes for their customers, and make the world a better place – all through the very best research.
Amanda has more than 25 years of research experience, collaborating with clients to produce meaningful insights helping them make more informed and better decisions. She helps businesses to ask the right questions at the right time to the right people. The results speak for themselves as she helped numerous organisations to obtain high quality, meaningful data to drive their businesses forward.
Jemma has more than 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C research. She takes a highly analytical approach and excels at handling large volumes of raw data and turning it into meaningful, actionable insights. Her extensive experience across a wide range of industries means she takes a highly flexible approach and can adapt seamlessly to any situation.
Sasha is an experienced CX Strategist with more than 10 years’ experience in customer, market and product research. She is dedicated to discovering the “why” behind the “what” and ensuring the voice of the consumer is heard. Combining strong research, technical and analytical skills, she turns data into actionable insights that drive change and promote customer loyalty.
Jim has more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing. Since 2011, he has specialised in helping businesses to find the best quality online traffic, converting this into leads and ultimately sales. He tailors his approach specifically to each client and their objectives, ensuring they maximise their online activity and resources, making it as effective as possible.
Dejan set up his own software company more than 18 years ago, bringing flagship products to the events market, designed to meet the ever-changing nature of the sector. In March 2021 he launched Zignotch, an intelligent, user-friendly platform that alongside hosting events can build stronger relationships with users through ongoing activities and on-demand content.
Elissa knows how to successfully plan and execute marketing campaigns. Over her career of more than 20 years she has worked on a huge variety of projects, across a wide range of industries, targeting both B2B and B2C audiences. She uses this extensive experience to bring fresh ideas to each project, creating compelling and relevant messaging that hits the mark.

Case Study: netMAGmedia
netMAGmedia are specialist business publishers for the architecture, construction, social housing and self-build sectors.
The Issue
netMAGmedia wanted to build better engagement with their clients in a way that would allow them to position themselves as a thought-leader in their sector. They were also keen to look for new ways to drive revenue and to create editorial content.
The Solution
As netMAGmedia wanted to create new editorial content and drive revenue, the perfect solution was to introduce Syndicated Hot Topics. This research centres on a key topic that is of current interest, such as fire safety or building low carbon homes. A survey drafted with the editorial team, was emailed to the readership database, with results to published in a subsequent issue. Up to six advertisers can take part in each survey and gain exclusive access to the findings.
The Results
netMAGmedia now have plans to grow their research offerings which - they hope - will deliver further revenue opportunities.
Research is opening new doors to the sales teams, enabling them to have better conversations with a wide variety of clients and win important new business.
